2nd weeks in Mumbai, we’ll arrange a long distance trip to a high place called Mahabaleshwar. It’s a mountain hills area with a lot of peak view. It took 6 hours from Mumbai to reach that place with bus. Although it would be a long journey for us, but no regret for it, because the view was very amazing and tremendous.

We departed from hostel at Powai area in 7 am. and reached Mahabaleshwar at 1 pm. It was a rough track indeed.. after took a rest for a while in Bharat hotel, we went to first hill top in afternoon. We didn’t know what would happen in our dinner in that night. Anyway, here is a pict of the hills

Let’s talk about our dinner that was very suprising :P  .. We didn’t realize something about the hotel. Yup, it was a bad news for all of us, the hotel type was for  vegetarian, and after struggle with stranger indian spicy food, we faced with more stranger vegetable foods. First time eat, only bread and few spon of rice that came in my stomach,,huhuhu, it was really strange for me especially. . But you know what, maybe because hungry and stomach requisition, this kind of strange foods was become delicious after all hahaha..

Back to the journey, the other interesting place is a hill called Pratapgadh Fort.. Long time ago, the famous king of India, Chatrapati Shivaji belong in this place. The Fort is quite amazing with hills background surrounding the place. Come and take a look some pictures of it

Another place was a rock hill that claimed as the 2nd highest rock mountains (the 1st is Grand Canyon in USA) .. ehmm, but I already forget the name of it

Last but not least, Krisna River.. A river that surrounded by hills..outstanding

On this wiken, we had a chance to go around city of Mumbai. The officer in MTNL Company arranged a day trip to see tourism places in this city. Hmm need to prepare anything especially camera stuff

23 of Januari at 09.00 am. , the team left from MTNL Hostel in Hiranandani Garden, Powai use a bus. First place to go is JB Udyan Heritage in Byculla. It is a big garden with a lot of animal in it (I think it looks like a zoo for me :p ) . We take a look around in that garden for almost 2 hours. In the front of the entering gate, there are an england ommission building that now became a museum. Good architecture indeed. Its former’s name is DR. Bhau Daji Lad Museum. There’s no time to look what’s inside, because the bus already went to the next destination, Gate of India.

It was already 1 pm. when we reached Gate of India. It was a harbour in last decade when India still become england’s colony. Nearby Gate of India, there are Taj Mahal Hotel that famous all over the world recently because the terorist attack to this hotel. The hotel still on a renovation in its damage that caused by terorist.

The next place to go was Marine Lines that directly facing Back Bay. The view was very tremendous. Far across the bay, there were buildings that upstanding like they clawn the sky. The total of skycrapper is more than Jakarta as I assume.

Ehmm :

The trip was continuing. The next place that we visit, was Haji Ali Dargah. A lot of muslim here, they are selling a lot of stuff such as peci, sajaddah, heena, carpet and soon. There are a masjid inside the area of Haji Ali Dargah’s place that sordid to the Arabian Sea. I use the opportunity to shalat azhar jama’ with dhuhur in that masjid.

We had time in a hanging park for a while to take our lunch and continued our journey to go back to Hostel via Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link that connected Bandra to Worli . It is a good place to see the sunrise, but unhapilly, we were just passing on that bridge , but in other hand, I had success to take its view, even if only from the bus. Here it is :

The journey still remained, there was traffic jam that greeting us on the way back home. Tired and chilled in the bus huhuhuhuh, at least at 9.30 pm. , we arrived at Powai. Take our dinner, take a bath and sleep

Akhirnya pada hari Kamis, 14 Januari 2010, notification letter dari Indian Embassy diumumkan, dan hasilnya saya musti berangkat ke India pada tanggal 17 Januari 2010. Kelimpungan ga ketulungan, cos hanya punya waktu 1 setengah hari mengurus visa dan dokumen-dokumen lainnya. Untungnya, pada hari Kamis, pasport ku jadi. Tapi masalah masih banyak disana, muter-muter buat ndapetin surat jalan dari setneg dan deplu dibantu Pak Nung dari Biro Hukum dan KLN. Saya konsen buat ndapetin visa dari Indian Embassy, sedangkan urusan ke Setneg dan Official Paspor dari Deplu kuserahkan pada beliau.

Jumat (15/1), saya berangkat menuju Indian Embassy di Kawasan Sudirman untuk menyerahkan dokumen untuk mengurus visa. Sore harinya, saya bertemu Mr. AS. Takhi untuk briefing terakhir , mengambil visa serta round trip ticket Jakarta-Mumbai. Untuk hari itu Jakarta tidak diguyur hujan dan semua urusan bisa terselesaikan.Alhamdulillah

Sabtu (16/1), hari terakhir sebelum keberangkatan, kuhabiskan waktu dengan tunanganku, all day long, cos bakalan berpisah 1 bulan huhuhuhu.

Minggu (17/1) pukul 09.00, Mas Heru menjemputku dengan taxi bluebirdnya. Jakarta cukup lengang hari itu dengan mendung mengelantung di langitnya. Kami pun sampai di terminal 2D Bandara Soetta. Setelah mendapat seabreg wejangan dari kekasih tercintah , kami pun berpisah cos boarding time sudah dekat. Pukul 13.00, Thai Airways yang membawaku ke Bangkok pun mengudara. Penerbangan ke Mumbai ini memang di set untuk transit di Bangkok dulu untuk kemudian melanjutkan lagi dengan pesawat lain.

Pukul 16.00, akhirnya Thai landing di Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok. Hmm, bandara ini jauh lebih luas dibanding Soetta. Praying room dan smoking area, dua tempat yg menjadi tujuanku ketika menjejakkan kaki di bandara tersebut. Setelah check in ulang, akhirnya di lantai 2 setelah pintu masuk gate 2E dan pemeriksaan (my adidas perfume has been taken by Thai Imigration L ) saya menemukan praying room yang cukup luas. It says “Moslem Praying Room”, alhamdulillah ga ketinggalan waktu sholat Ashar. Next most wanted place is smoking room..hehehe kudapatkan juga di bandara ini dan dekat dengan gate keberangkatan ke Mumbai pula. Disela-sela ritual merokok, ketemu dengan rombongan dari Indonesia. Mereka berasal dari Kalimantan dan bekerja di kilang minyak lepas minyak di Mumbai.Ada sekitar 7 orang yang rutin bolak-balik Jakarta – Mumbai setiap 3 bulan sekali untuk bekerja.

Pukul 18.00, Thai Airways yang membawaku dari Bangkok ke Mumbai pun take off. Banyak hal yang menjadi pengamatanku selama menggunakan maskapai ini.

1. Maskapai ini memperbolehkan alkohol di dalam pesawat terbukti dari para pramugari yang menawarkan minuman sejenis beer, martel, martini, vodka dsb.. hmm orange juice please

2. Rumor pramugari di Thai Airways yang cakep-cakep ternyata terbantahkan, ga ada yg cute, charm dsb. Masih cakepan pramugari2 Indonesia

3. Selama perjalanan, ,mereka memutarkan box office movie, walhasil, waktu dihabiskan dengan menonton film-film tersebut. iPod ku jadi nganggur untuk sementara waktu

Pukul 11.00 waktu GMT+5,5, pesawat landing di Bandara Chatrapati Shivaji di Mumbai. Alhamdulillah proses di Imigrasi lancar.. di luar, sudah ada 3 orang India yang membawa plang bertuliskan Helmi Fajar (Indonesia), alhamdulillah udah dijemput ternyata..goes menuju hotel and tidur…good night everybody

18 November 2009, saya dan temen-temen dari komunitas www.purworejokita.com telah merencanakan untuk melakukan perjalanan ke Bromo. Awal rencana, ada 7 orang yang akan bertolak dari Jakarta, tetapi menjelang hari keberangkatan, 2 teman kami membatalkan untuk bergabung karena alasan pekerjaan dan keluarga.

Kami bertolak dari Tangerang, dari rumah Om Timbul tempat kami menginap. Kita memang berkumpul dahulu di rumah salah satu anggota team yang rumahnya paling deket dengan bandara, mengingat pesawat kami flight pukul 07.00 takutnya pada keblablasan tidurnya

Pukul 04.00, taxi yang menjemput kami datang dengan diiringi hujan deras. Tim pun dibagi dalam 2 kloter, karena tidak mungkin untuk membawa 5 penumpang sekaligus dalam satu taxi. Saya, gudel dan andy berangkat dahulu untuk check in di terminal keberangkatan, diikuti timbul dan waone dengan taxi kedua (hampir saja telat untuk boarding L )

Pukul 07.05, pesawat take off dan sekitar pukul 08.10 kita landing di Bandara Djuanda Surabaya. Disana teman kami, mukidi, telah siap untuk menjemput rombongan untuk selanjutnya transit di Mukidi’s Residence di Gresik. Kita cukup lama bermalas2an di Gresik, sampai akhirnya Jumat (20/10) pukul 07.30, kita berangkat menuju Bromo via Tongas Probolinggo dengan menggunakan 2 gerobak.

Pukul 11, kita sampai di Cemoro Kandang, terminal terakhir di Bromo dengan disambut hawa dingin menyeruak ..brrr …Aku sudah tidak begitu kaget karena ini pengalaman kedua ku kesini, jadi sudah prepare bermacam2 peralatan penghangat badan .. 10 menit sesudah kami sampai, kabut turun. Saya dan Mukidi mencoba untuk mencari penginapan sementara, paling ga untuk tempat berteduh sampai keberangkatan ke Pananjakan. Telusur punya telusur, kita dapet juga sebuah rumah dengan 4 kamar. Kita menyewa 3 kamar IDR 350rb untuk 1 hari 1 malam plus jeep untuk transport kami ke Pananjakan sebesar 250rb per Jeep (kita menyewa 2 jeep). Buat para bekpeker yg mo nyewa Jeep di Bromo, saya sarankan buat menyewanya di gardu terminal, cos disitu harganya harga standar , jadi kemungkinan over cost bisa dikurangi J

Pukul 04.00, driver jeep pun mengetok-ngetok pintu home stay tempat kami tidur..wiii dingin brr ga ketulungan (walopun msh sempet ‘pub’ juga siy hahaha ) .. Sampai di Pananjakan, orang-orang udah bejubel disana-sini, ga keilangan akal, saya meringsek ke depan dan mendapatkan beberapa spot bagus. Dari Pengalaman kemarin, saya tidak akan berdiri di satu spot saja, puas di golden spot ku, ak beranjak untuk mencari spot lain untuk menangkap momen2 indah di Bromo. Beberapa momen menakjubkan berhasil ku dapat, monggo di cekidot juragan-juragan semua

At least my debian box that act as router has changed with Mikrotik DOM lvl 6.. It only bear up for only 2 weeks until I changed it. With the same network topology as router before (debian mode), it easier to config network rules using mikrotik, especially using winbox tools that has GUI that make router config more user friendly without concerning terminal script

A lot of stuff  I plugged in this DOM.

1. NAT masquerrade
2. Transparet proxy with automatic clearing cache
3. IP forwarding classified by port number to communicate between local server to public clients
4. Porn sites blocking using firewall, even if I upset with this thing

Everything seems fine and it works with a good performance.

Problem came up when I try to set one more network interface that provide an ip public. I planned to use this IP so that web server can accessed over internet. But when i started to config it, the network became mess. User in local area network can be browsing with URL method. Send ICMP Packet to public gateway made a normal reply from it. I really suspicious with the DNS configuration and routing stuff.. Hmm it needs more routing rules I think,,ehmm I rather lazzy to think and configure about it again when I found that I still have one more mikrotik router in Routerbox 450G.

Routerboard 450G, hmm I can use it as a brigde to connecting ip public to web server directly without through NAT server.. Hehehehe. Obviously the setup process is more complicated then DOM. We have to connect to routerboard using its Mac Address and winbox. 2 days I was thinking to manage this RB 450 G and at least I succeded to config this RB 450G.

Tommorow will be an execution day to make IP public setting using RB 450G. Friday — pararell with Software Development Document that will be consult with the client,,,hope will be no more problem in it.

Yup, the result of this technique always makes me fascinated..I think, it’s a magic technique to make an image became more ‘hard’ and rough, but in other hand, give a wonderfull colour and great scratch on the edge.

Last week, I did a lil’ journey from my home village to Yogyakarta’s downtown,, While I was shopping, I tried to grab a piece set of building in that area. The result has been modified with HDR technique use photomatix pro.

one place that I want to visit at least once in my life time, is Bunaken.. The opportunity was came to me at August this year . Oucchh , you know what, it totally awesome,. Don’t know the words that will describe it. Hardly can say it in a blog post. Very recommended for you that love beach and sea a lot.. 

Departed from Jakarta at Indonesia’s Independence Day, with full of  flight services from GIA, landing in the middle of the rain, the smell of beach was very obvious. First day, after take care Hotel’s administration, hunting a sunset in Boulevard. A well known region in Manado, with direct view of sunset.

DAY 2 :
A Journey to Bunaken and Liang Beach

Let’s we talk about how much Bunaken give a good view, both Underwater view and its panoramic view..Really explain how much Allah was giving Indonesia with a lot of resource and heaven’s view. Even if my skin burned, but It worthed enough with the sensation that I felt.

Yup, that day was hunting time

Walked from Grand Mentari hotels near Antasari Street at 4.30 a.m. , cut accross the darkness night of Banjarmasin, me and Mr. Edy with bag and camera full loaded were starting our hunting time. The target are floating point and kembang island.

Almost 2 hours, we walked, through Old Market, and at least, at 6.00 a,m we arrived at a little harbour. In that place, we rent a boat that would take us travelling on barito’s river. Hmm it was first time I saw buyer and seller get together on a river, to selling and buying each other on their shallop. I just humble, are they can swim or not?just imagine if something happen to their boat..they will fall into deep water indeed.

Arrived in Dharmala Intiland Building at 5.00 p.m sharp !!  , those are members of IDP that has been waiting for in Excelsso, bro Ivan Lesmana, Leo and other members of DF, Bro JM, Bondiy and others At 5.30 p.m, we climb up the building, to start hunting session.

It was quite awesome, cause the building, right in a corner of Sudirman-KH. Mas Mansyur intersection..so that, we had more variation to make photo composition. Read more
